Corporación Sumemos Por Un Casanare Sostenible

La Corporación Sumemos is a nonprofit organization based in Casanare, Colombia, dedicated to advancing sustainable development, social inclusion, and gender equality in marginalized communities. Through education, training, and public policy advocacy, the organization empowers women and promotes economic and territorial development across the region.

With the support of our Giving Joy grant, Sumemos will launch a Women Tractor Drivers Course to help close the technological and gender gap in agriculture. The grant will fund essential logistics, such as transportation, equipment maintenance, and income insurance, for 15 women participating in training and internships, improving their employability and supporting their families’ livelihoods. This initiative fosters economic independence and greater inclusion for women in traditionally male-dominated sectors.
