United Front Uprising

Stephanie Taylor (in photo) is a 34 year old African American motivational speaker, advocate, and activist with Bachelor of Arts in Business Management and Human Services. Having overcome many obstacles herself, including an abusive relationship, Stephanie founded, in 2020, United Front Uprising to educate society about systemic racism and its impacts on African American youth and their communities. Through virtual meetings and webinars, she teaches youth and disadvantaged individuals how to evaluate policies, offers financial counseling, and educates on credit. She also conducts "Talk Time" with international students who are looking to improve their English skills through casual conversation. Stephanie used her Giving Joy grant to improve her marketing and fundraising materials, thereby extending the reach of United Front Uprising to a wider audience.
