Leave a Legacy Through a Charitable Bequest

Including Giving Joy in your will or estate plan is a powerful way to support women’s entrepreneurship and gender equality for generations to come. A charitable bequest allows you to make a lasting impact, without affecting your finances during your lifetime.

How to Make a Charitable Bequest to Giving Joy:

  1. Decide on Your Gift Type
    You can leave a specific amount, a percentage of your estate, or the remainder after other gifts are distributed.

  2. Include Giving Joy in Your Will or Trust
    Work with your attorney or estate planner to include simple language such as:
    “I give [dollar amount or percentage] to Giving Joy, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization (Tax ID: EIN 86-3003109), located in Massachusetts, to be used to support its mission.”

  3. Notify Us (Optional but Encouraged)
