Jane Frances Mugerwa

Jane Frances Mugerwa is a conservationist from Mpigi district in Uganda. She focuses on improving the livelihoods of wetland dependents, while conversing the wetlands themselves. Jane will use the Giving Joy grant to train 50 women farmers in mushroom production, mushroom cultivation, processing and marketing. Grant beneficiaries include the initial 50 women farmers, their families and their communities that will have access to a high value food source, and additional employment opportunities.
