Sisterhood in Action: Women Empowering Women on Giving Tuesday

For Giving Tuesday (November 28, 2023), Giving Joy partnered with Nathalie Noisette’s Mental Money - an empowering podcast designed exclusively for minority women in business. The podcast equips and elevates the next wave of diverse women business leaders, ensuring they are well-prepared to attract investments and achieve their professional aspirations.

Mental Money is expanding its reach and influence through a special Mental Money Podcast Micro Grant for Women Entrepreneurs with Giving Joy. This $500 grant, is awarded to Fondation Luc Eucariste (FLE) and Coordination des Femme de Bainet (COFAB), a grassroots organization that aims to strengthen education, agriculture and health services in Bainet, Haiti.

The grant will be used to purchase parts, employ labor and fix the community mill to ensure the production of flour for the COFAB community. Additionally, FLE will build the capacity of at least 30 COFAB members in entrepreneurship, business management, financial management, marketing and sales to create value-add products from the production of flour from the local mill.

We are very grateful to Mental Money for their generosity and support this Giving Tuesday and making a difference in women’s lives!
