Female Gender Empowerment Initiative (FGEI)

Grace Ndi Manasseh, CEO and Founder of Female Gender Empowerment Initiative (FGEI), leads an NGO dedicated to advancing and empowering girls and women in Kaduna State, Nigeria. The Giving Joy grant will help sustain and expand the Female Basketball League in Kaduna State, offering 40 girls a platform to express themselves through sports and promoting gender equality. The league will serve as a safe space for girls to openly address issues related to sexual and gender-based violence, fostering empowerment through sports and contributing to the dismantling of gender inequality. We look forward to witnessing the League's growth and perhaps enjoying some of the games ourselves!
