Fatima Hashemi - IT Expert

Fatima is an IT expert. She started her own IT company with her husband where they design financial systems for the Government of Afghanistan and banks. The Giving Joy grant helped Fatima create and launch lms.karobaram.com - an online learning management system (LMS) for women IT developers. She was able to purchase a laptop, domain and hosting licenses, templates and website features, and a mobile phone for filming on line training sessions. The LMS will enhance young women programmers’ IT skills to get jobs within and outside of Afghanistan.
