Fatima Sherzad – Handicrafts

Fatima is an entrepreneur and store owner. In November 2020, her son was killed by the Taliban in an attack on Kabul University. This motivated her to become and an activist and join the Afghanistan Victims of War Foundation. She used the Giving Joy grant to revitalize her handicrafts business, after it was forced to closed, due to the Taliban. She will also continue her advocacy for victims of war.
