Zarghoona Sadat - Educator

Zarghoona Sadat is the founder of Effat Private School where girls and boys studied together in an open environment. Since August 2021 and the take over of Afghanistan by the Taliban, the school has to conduct completely separate classes for boys and girls, which in turn necessitates more teachers and classrooms. in 2022 Zarghoona won the Bibi Khadiga award for Afghan women entrepreneurs. Giving Joy contributed to the award and Zarghoona will use the prize money to purchase lab and computer equipment to enhance female education in science and technology.
