Nguyen Tran Thuy Tien

Nguyen Tran Thuy Tien, a deaf woman from Vietnam, is the Founder and Director of PARD Vietnam, a non-profit dedicated to empowering over 1,500 deaf individuals with essential skills for confidence and independence.

With the Giving Joy grant, Tien will launch the "DeafLife Series: Empowering Deaf Women Entrepreneurs," a mini-documentary series showcasing the daily lives and careers of deaf women entrepreneurs. These videos will challenge societal stereotypes, highlight the resilience and achievements of deaf women, and inspire others within the deaf community and beyond.

The grant will significantly contribute to raising awareness about the abilities and accomplishments of deaf individuals, particularly women entrepreneurs. By sharing authentic, real-life stories through this mini-documentary series, Tien aims to highlight the unique skills, resilience, and successes of deaf women in various fields. The series aims to reach 15,000 people, fostering greater understanding and promoting inclusivity and diversity in business.
